Open ended zips or Closed end zips.......what???

OK this is simple.....we hope!  Every zip will state whether the zip is OPEN or CLOSED end. All you have to think is an open ended zip is one which completely separates into two parts like you would have in any jacket or coat.  Closed end zips on the other hand don't separate into two parts at the bottom like those in trousers, skirts, handbags and purses.

Refers to the size of the zip, #3 zips have teeth that measure approximately 3mm when closed together, #5 5 mm when closed together and so on.

The larger the size the more robust the zip and its ability to be used for heavy duty applications.
